North Charleston
Water Polo

is a USA water polo club and currently the only Master’s water polo team in South Carolina. We have one co-ed team (18+), and are eager to add opportunities for younger athletes to play in the near future.

The majority of the team has played water polo at the high school and/or collegiate level, but we welcome new athletes – we just recommend having a solid swimming foundation at the minimum.

Being new to an area without knowing anyone can be tough. I was fortunate enough to find South Carolina Water Polo days after moving to Charleston, and have had a great time making new friends while playing the sport that I love. Teammates are from all around the globe and from different walks of life. It is really special to share the game with seasoned players and watch as new players develop a love and appreciation for the sport.

Getting back in the pool and playing with teammates reminded me that there's no better place than being on a team, having fun, and getting the best workout for your mind and body.
